This year's squad was completely new and reenergized, with 11 members of various experiences and backgrounds, but high spirits in common.

Members: Amber Fair, Charae Gilbert, Chloe Hendricks, Gianna Hayes, Gwen Dreyer, Jamie Wendt, Janet Cheung, Jessica Hammons, Maritza Sosa, Mollie White, Nile Nash
Mission Statement:
We attend Basketball games, both Men's & Women's, and hope to be available for other events on campus as time goes on. As our first year in competition, however, we learned and grew so much, that we are determined to focus more on this aspect of cheerleading in the future. We competed in dance in 2001, and plan to compete in both areas in 2002.

Formal tryouts - You'll be asked to perform cheers & a dance learned thru-out the clinics, & to demonstrate any other abilities you can... |
Working-out in advance is strongly recommended, so that you will be in shape and less tired after the clinic days, and ready for the actual tryouts on the 20th.
Also, please wear comfortable shoes and workout clothes. (No jeans!) Your attire for the formal tryouts should not draw attention from your performance. Bring water and snacks.
If you have any further questions, please contact Shannon Key.
