Slugs Finish Week With a Perfect 5-0 Record

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The UCSC Women's Volleyball team started off the week with a solid win over the Bethany Bruins of Scotts Valley (25-9, 25-23, 25-16). Leading the Slugs was Senior Outside Hitter Megan Wisniewski who racked up 11 kills hitting .364 for the match. (more)

Murphy Receives Association of Division III Independents Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week Honor

KANSAS CITY, MO - University of California-Santa Cruz sophomore Mikayla Murphy is this week's Association of Division III Independents women's cross country Runner of the Week. Murphy picked up her second win in as many weeks, providing a course record time 22:36 on the University of Redlands 6K course. The time matches her 6K school record set last year and ultimately helped her stay undefeated against Division III competition.

Lamb Receives Association of Division III Independents Women's Soccer Player of the Week Award

KANSAS CITY, MO - University of California-Santa Cruz senior forwarwd Annick Lamb has been named the Association of Division III women's soccer Player of the Week. Lamb helped the Slugs to an important victory over Division III rival University of Redlands, 2-1. She scored both goals, bringing her total to six on the season. The Slugs improved to 3-1-1 overall.
