Primrose Pisares joined the UCSC athletic training staff in 2005 as an assistant athletic trainer. She began her career in athletic training as an intern at Hartnell College after graduating in 1997 from the University of California at Santa Barbara where she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Physiology. As an intern she worked with many skill levels of competition which ranged from youth sports to semi-pro soccer. After becoming certified in 2001 she attended the Arizona School of Health Sciences and graduated with a Masters degree in Sports Health Care in 2003. While there, she completed various clinical rotations that included rehabilitation clinics, orthopedic physicians offices, as well as collegiate and high school settings.

Upon return to California, Primrose worked at various community colleges in the area until joining UCSC but continues to work at Gavilan College during the football season. She is a member of the NATA and a qualified examiner for the NATABOC. In addition, she is an Approved Clinical Instructor for San Jose State University.

Primrose grew up on the Central Coast and enjoys performing Polynesian style dance and playing volleyball as well as various other hobbies and outdoor activities.

· Undergraduate: California State University, Fullerton (graduated in June 2007, B.S. in Kinesiology w/ emphasis in Athletic Training). Worked with various sports (mens soccer, gymnastics, track and field)

· Graduate school: A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences (graduated in August 2009, M.S. in Athletic Training)

· Graduate Assistant: Arizona State University – worked with Mens/Womens Cross Country and Mens/Womens Track & Field Phoenix College – worked with mens/womens soccer and baseball

· Passed NATA-BOC exam and became a Certified Athletic Tr ainer in 200 7

· Grew up in southern California (Oxnard, CA / Ventura county)

· Enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, running, and learning to play the guitar

· Member of the NATA, NASM

Tim Baldwin joined the UCSC athletic training staff in August of 2009 as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. Prior to UCSC, Tim attended DePauw University and graduated in May of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology. At DePauw, Tim was a student-athlete competing intercollegiately in baseball while working with various teams that included swimming and diving, basketball, football, baseball, soccer, softball, and field hockey. Tim also interned at physical therapy clinics and instructed athletes at speed and agility/strength and conditioning centers to enhance their athletic performances on the field.

Tim is originally a native of northern Illinois and grew up playing both football and baseball. He enjoys mixed martial arts training as well as many outdoor sports and activities.
