Do
you have the passion to become a Fighting Banana Slug and continue this
tradition of excellence? As a potential student-athlete, this page is
designed to provide you with access to information that will be useful
to you as you make your decision to attend UCSC!
FINANCIAL
AID
UC Santa Cruz is a NCAA Division III University, which means that
we do not offer Athletics scholarships. You can apply for financial assistance
through the Financial Aid Office.
ADMISSIONS
You also might need to contact the Admissions Office in order to make
sure that you have fulfilled the necessary requirements.
HOW TO CONTACT A COACH
The Athletics Staff
Directory will provide you with a list of all department coaches and
how to best contact them (either by mail, email, phone or by filling out
an on-line questionnaire).
Please note that, per NCAA
Recruiting Guidlines, we can only respond to e-mails from seniors
and juniors (after September 1) in high school and we will mail responses
to freshmen and sophomores within NCAA rules only.
CAMPS
A great way to be seen by a UCSC coach is to attend
one of the NIKE
Camps this summer.
