HIGH SCHOOL:   A 2008 graduate of Petaluma High School in North Coast Section.  Had high games of 12 points against Casa Grande and Rancho Cotate his senior year.  Shot 78% from the field his senior year.   Coached by Sean Payne in high school.

2008-2009:  Played in 17 games as a freshman.  Career high of 8 points against Golden State Baptist and pulled down 8 rebounds against Cal Tech.

2009-2010:  Played in 14 games as a sophomore.  

2010-2011:  Took a year off from UCSC Baksetball

2011-2012:  Played in 6 games.  Shot 100% from the free throw line this past season.  

PERSONAL:  Ryan is the son of Paul and Kelly Swanson.  Family also includes brother Shawn and sister Amy.
