On a breakaway in the 23rd minute, Baird would score his second goal of the game past a diving goalkeeper. Bryan would then score the last goal of the game for the Slugs when he netted a perfect shot in the 81st minute.

Adding a spark off the bench in the second half was senior Grant Lyon, who came in and recorded 3 points in just 8 minutes of playing time. In the 54th minute Lyon would be credited with the assist on a Matt Skenazy goal. Four minutes later Grant would score one of his own off an assist from Alex Mandel.
