The men's soccer game with Bethesda on November 1st will be a Measure 68 Celebration for students on campus.
Earlier this year, UCSC students overwhelmingly approved Measure 68, which not only provided support to the Athletics Department, but increased access for student athletic and recreation activities.
There will be information provided about EOP (Educational Opportunity Programs) scholarships and the Recreation Department's outdoor programs. Free Woodstock's pizza will be provided for the first 200 UCSC students with ID, and there will be a raffle drawing for prizes.
Prior to the game, men's soccer will honor lone senior Luke Pfeiffer.
In addition, it is also a Battle of the Colleges event where student attendance at the game will determine which of the ten residential colleges win the BOC trophy at the end of the school year.
