Men's tennis has dominant win over Kingsmen

THOUSAND OAKS - UC Santa Cruz had a big win in their first Division III dual of spring with an 8-1 win over Cal Lutheran.

UCSC opened the day with Chad Stone and Ryan Dugan taking the No. 1 doubles 8-2. Magnus Ibh and A.J. FLora won a 2 doubles 8-3, while the No. 3 doubles team of Floyd Penners and Chad Le Duff won 8-6.

The momentum carried over to the singles where UCSC won four matches in sweeps. CLU won is only match of the afternoon at No. 6 in a three-set match that went to tie-breaker, whic UCSC countered by taking the No. 5 singles the same fashion.
