SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The 3-day Player ID (Individual Development) Clinic field sessions are a great way for our staff to see you play on site and also give you the opportunity to meet the current players in the program and see the level here at UCSC. We do not have a big budget to travel to tournaments, so the best way for us to see you play is for you to attend one or more of our ID clinics. The spring ID clinic is designed to help players develop their own technical skills, get a sense of our program and showcase your skills to our staff. For 2014 grads considering attending UCSC, this is our final ID Clinic before the deadline to commit to UCSC. Sessions follow a one training session per day pattern with warm-ups, fitness and agility, small-sided sessions and smaller 6v6 games and potential 11v11 games. Players secure their own housing/lodging/transportation for the 2-night's stay. We offer a meeting with staff and potential class visit on Friday, and tour of campus and Saturday with our current UCSC players in addition to the field sessions. Players can also pick and choose what sessions fit into their winter schedule the best and attend a select number of days if not the whole clinic.
