UCSC Athletic Training Facilities
UCSC has two Athletic Training Rooms situated to serve
student athletes at varying locations on campus. There is one at
the East Fieldhouse and one in the West Fieldhouse.
The East Fieldhouse facility is our main athletic training
room and contains basic modalities, rehabilitation tools, and
medical supplies. This facility is open to all UCSC varsity
athletes. The athletic training room is located next to the gym at
ground level, across from the tennis courts.
The West Fieldhouse facility is our secondary athletic
training room, used mainly for volleyball and basketball. Due to
size of facility only basic supplies are kept there, and modalities
are limited to ice, moist heat, ultrasound, and electrical
stimulation. Treatments and rehabilitation that cannot be
accommodated in this facility are referred to the East Athletic
Training Room. This athletic training facility is located upstairs
in the West Fieldhouse.
