UCSC was led by Senior Jenna Chabot's 12 points, the lone Slug to score in double-digits. Rachel Ocampo added 4 points and 3 assists, and Megan Gaynor was held to 6 points and 2 rebounds due to early foul trouble. Tina Beams had 9 and Kayleigh Calandri had 7. Junior Sarah Defenbaugh came off the bench to have a good night; she added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in just 15 minutes of play. Kimberly Kawasaki and Johnelle Parsons both had 22 points for Claremont. The Slugs have 3 straight games this week, starting with Notre Dame de Namur at home on Tuesday, 5pm tip-off. |
