November 20, 2007 Slugs Women's Basketball Comes Away With A Close Victory At Dominican
UCSC Women's Basketball walks away with a close win versus Dominican, 74-69. Size is what lead the way for the Slugs once again, having four post players score in double digits. Sophomore forward Molly Davisson lead the way with 14 points and 7 rebounds, while Junior forward Melissa Junge and sophomore forward Jessica Andrusaitis finished with 12 points each and 11 rebounds collectively. Rounding off for the posts was senior center Sarah Adamson who finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Senior point guard Talia Joyce also had a strong showing, leading the team with 9 rebounds while contributing 9 points and 6 assists.
This victory brings the Slugs to 2-1. Next they will travel down to Claremont where they will face Claremont McKenna and Pomona-Pitzer. |
