Slugs Lose To Pacific Lutheran
SPOKANE, WA-- Pacific Lutheran was on fire this evening when it stepped on the court to face UC Santa Cruz in a non-conference women's basketball game in Olson Auditorium. The Lutes came out on top, 62-53, in their season opener. The star of the night for the Lutes was junior guard Shelly Kilcup. In the first six minutes she snagged four rebounds, and she found her shot a minute later with a three-pointer for the Lutes. (more)

Elite Girls basketball Camp set for Saturday September 24th and October 8th
SANTA CRUZ, CA--Our Elite Basketball Camp is a one-day intensive camp designed for the player who is motivated to play at the Varsity level and beyond. Not only will this camp allow players to develop their individual basketball fundamentals it will also give athletes an opportunity to gain an edge on their competition with a strength and conditioning component. Athletes will be trained using advanced methods and curriculum to develop their skill set in the post, on the wing, or at the guard position. (more)

Nike Women Basketball Camp is Open for Enrollment
SANTA CRUZ, CA--Led by UCSC Women's Basketball Coach Todd Kent, the the 2011 Nike Summer Basketball Camps are for girls ages 8-18.
The Complete Skills camp runs from July 31st - August 4th, and Shooting camp from August 4th - August 6th.

Whitworth Shootout Mixed Results for Slugs Women's Basketball Team
SPOKANE, WA--The Slugs Women’s Basketball Team got their first win against the heavily favored tournament host team, the Whitworth Pirates. After a slow start, getting off to a 15 point deficit in the early going, the Slugs started raining ‘3’s.’ They ended the game shooting 48 percent (11 for 23) from behind the arc. (more)

Slugs Women's Basketball team Comeback Falls Short
SANTA CRUZ, CA--After a month of intense preparation, the Slugs Women’s Basketball Team opened their season on Wednesday, 11/17/10 with a home game against Menlo at the UCSC West Field House. The Slugs got off to a slow start in the first half. The second half proved a different story with the Slugs stepping up the energy level and effort. (more)
