Slugs Co-Host Golf Tournament
Slug Golfer Megan Bishop First Place Individual

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- On October 3rd and 4th, Women's Golf co-hosted a golf tournament with Cal State East Bay. The first round of golf was played at Monarch Bay in San Leandro, CA, and the second was at Pasatiempo Golf course in Santa Cruz, CA. The participating teams were UCSC, Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State East Bay, and Dominican College. Dominican finished in 1st place, followed by UC Santa Cruz, and then CSU East Bay. The 1st place individual was junior Megan Bishop of UC Santa Cruz. Megan had her personal best at 77, overcoming putting woes and sunk everything in sight.

The women's golf team looks forward to the next event at Mary Hardin Baylor in Temple, TX, hoping to bring a full team plus one individual to compete against some of the best teams in the nation.
