Women's Golf Competing Strong in Texas The Slugs began their first day of competition in Texas at the Mary Hardin Baylor Wild Flower Country Club. In their first day competing, the Slugs are off to a great start. Halley Sutton, only a freshman, broke 80 for the first time today and is tied for second with a 79. Veteran senior, Stephanie Bishop, followed only one stroke behind with an 80. After today's round the Slugs are in 5th place out of 18 teams. Tomorrow will be a big day for the Slugs as they continue with another round of great golf. |
