UCSC Women's Golf Currently in 11th Place

SALADO, TX -- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s golf team struggled to put together five consistent rounds and the Cru women are tied for ninth place after the first round of the UMHB Spring Invitational Monday afternoon in Salado. UC Santa Cruz is 11^th with a 371, Texas Lutheran University is in 12^th place with a 378 and Schreiner University is 13^th with a 381 team total. (more)

Women's Golf Rally On Second Day To Defeat Bruins

Under rainy and wet conditions on a course rated as one of the top 100 public courses in the country, the Slugs fired an impressive team score of 348 and overcame an eight-stroke deficit after Sunday’s round, while the Bruins dropped to a 379 second-day score.   Jessie Lewis of UCSC fired a low round of 41-38=79 Monday to capture medalist honors with a two-day score of 166, and Halley Sutton was right behind with a 44-39=83 to take second with a collective score of 172.
