October 27, 2005 SANTA CRUZ, CA -- Bryan Baird got the scoring started for the UC Santa Cruz men's soccer team as it held off a physical Buena Vista University team visiting from Iowa, 4-0, Wednesday. Grant Lyon also scored in the first half of the soggy game for the Banana Slugs (13-1-1 overall). Davey Cochrane and Alex Mandel added goals in the second half.... |
