Wondolowski Powers Slugs Past Dominican The UC Santa Cruz Men's Soccer Team improved to 9-1 after beating Dominican University 3-0, behind two goals from Senior, Team Captain Steve Wondolowski. Wondolowski's two goals, both in the first half, were his fourth in three games, and good enough see him become the Slugs' leading goalscorer on the year with 5 goals. Wondolowski has not failed to score since being moved from defender to forward three games ago.
The Slugs' third goal was added late in the game off of a penalty kick from Junior, Forward Harry Abraham. Junior, Goalkeeper Jared Wheeler led the Slugs defense to it's 9th shutout of the season, and it's 5th strait.
