Slugs Go 2-0 Opening Weekend

The UC Santa Cruz Men's Soccer Team got their season rolling with two wins in their opening weekend!  The Slugs routed the Milwaukee School of Engineering 4-0 in their 1st game with goals from Anthony Scarlett, Peter Shellenbarger, Harry Abraham, and Matt Skenazy.  The Slugs then turned around and in a very physical game beat the University of the Ozarks 1-0.  Captain David Frank lead the slugs with the lone goal.  The Slugs also got stellar play in the back from Senior Steve Wondolowski, and Junior Alex Tocco to post two clean sheets for the weekend.

Next week the Slugs play host to Loras College on Saturday, September 9th, as well as Concordia College on Monday September 11th.  Both games will be held at Noon on the Lower East Field at UC Santa Cruz.
