HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Davis HS in 2007. While is high school she received the John Wooden Award.

PERSONAL: She is the daughter of Karen Schmitendorf and Kirk Brandt and has three sibilings, Max, 23, Fredericka, 17, Augustus, 16. While at UC Santa Cruz, Margareta has been a Scholar Student Athlete twice (2007 & 2008). Margareta is also serving as the SAAC Vice President, and in 2008 she was the SAAC Community Service Coordinator.
