HIGH SCHOOL: Kira's high school soccer team won the state championship in 2006. She was on the honor roll all four years and was an Illinois State Scholar. She played club soccer for Jackois, Euro Soccer, and Trevian Soccer Club.

PERSONAL: Kira's favorite athlete is her daddy and her favorite movie is The Princess Bride. The best class she has taken at UCSC so far is American Studies. Her favorite place in Santa Cruz is the beach and she also enjoys climbing. She has two siblings, Jason (27) and Marissa (21) and her parents name's are Gary Ticus and Sandra Pietkiewicz.
