Women's Soccer defeats Dominican; climbs into top 25

SAN RAFAEL, CA -- The UCSC Women's Soccer defeated Dominican College on Wednesday, by a socre of 5-1.

Senior Forward Bridget Baroncini scored two goals and Freshman Caitlin Carpenter, Senior Antoinette Ajayi and Junior Danielle Sassano also scored against the Penguins of Dominican College.

The team is now ranked #20 in the lastest NSCAA/adidas National rankings. Its the highest ranking the team has held in nearly two years.

The team's record now stands at 8-2-1. They play their next match this Friday at Notre Dame de Namur College in Belmont. Match time is set for 3:00 PM.
