Women's Soccer loses at CSU Hayward, 3-2

HAYWARD, CA -- The Women's Soccer team lost at CSU Hayward on Sunday, by a score of 3-2.

Senior Bridget Baronicini continued her stellar season, scoring on a penalty kick in the 29th minute to give UCSC a 1-0 lead. Baroncini has now scored 12 goals on the season and leads UCSC with 28 points.

But Hayward would answer with two goals of their own, and April Rogers would score the game winner after UCSC's Courtney Frick tied it up with 5 minutes left in the game.

UCSC saw its record drop to 9-4-1. The team plays its next game next Sunday against the University of Redlands.
