High-Five to Five Slugs Winning Five-Zero

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The UCSC Women's Soccer team got their first shutout of the season Sunday, blanking the ladies from Dominican, 5-0. Gina Ramirez, Lauren Lindsay, Claire Gustafson, Courtney Frick, and Lauren Philibosian did the scoring for the Slugs. Philibosian also added two assists to lead the way for the team. Goalkeeper Kristin Horn didn't see much action in the net, but stopped everything that came her way with four saves on four shots.

The ladies will next meet Chapman University on Sunday October 12th, 12:00pm here at UCSC. Come out and cheer them on!
