September 16, 2004 SANTA CRUZ, CA -- After an upset by Lewis & Clark College (2-0-1) on Sunday, the Slugs left for their second of three L.A. trips to face Cal Lutheran. Taking just 9 shots in the game, Lauren Philibosian was able to setup Michelle Sharman for the games only goal at the 33-minute mark. This was the second loss for Cal Lu (0-2-0) as the Lancers were unable to finish on their 17 shots on goal, UCSC goalkeeper Katie Loomis was credited with saving 6 of those 17 shots. UCSC's record now moves up to 3-2-1. |
