Lamb Receives Assocation
of Division III Independents Women's Soccer Player of the Week Award
KANSAS
CITY, MO. -- Senior
forward Annick Lamb (Santa Barbara, Calif.) has been named the Association
of Division III Independents women's soccer Player of the Week. Lamb scored
a pair of goals this week, bringing her season total to 13. With the goals,
she broke the school record for goals in a career with 55 total. Lamb scored
the record-tying goal in a crucial 2-1 overtime victory over Chapman University
on the 17th of October. She followed with the record-breaking goal on Sunday
the 19th during the Slugs 2-0 victory over Cal Lutheran on senior day. The
previous record was held by Danielle Pelicano who played at UCSC from 1998-2001.
The Slugs are currently ranked No.
3 in the West Region, with an overall record of 8-3-1 and a three game
win-streak.
