Dan Chamberlain, who guided the men's program to two NCAA Division-III tournament berths in his three years as head coach, has accepted an assistant coaching job for the men's soccer team at Stanford University effective immediately, and will be replaced at UCSC by former Slugs women's coach Michael Runeare.(more)

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The University of California Santa Cruz had 4 players named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas NCAA D III All West Region Team. Senior Annick Lamb was selected to the First Team. Junior Jackie Belton to the second team. Junior Holly Sinclair and Sophomore Erica Wheeler – Dubin to the third team. (more)

First Team All-Academic Honors
SANTA CRUZ, CA -- Senior Forward Annick Lamb was named to the 2008 CoSIDA All-Academic Team,
Lamb was named to the District 8 College Division First Team. Annick currently
holds UCSC's career goals record and points record, she is majoring in Biology
and has a 3.80 gpa. With a First Team District Honor, Lamb is automatically
nominated for the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America National Ballot.
Annick will lead the Slugs into their final regular season game on Friday
against Cal State East Bay at 3pm in Hayward, CA (more)

Women's Soccer Player of the Week Award
KANSAS CITY, MO. -- Senior forward Annick
Lamb (Santa Barbara, Calif.) has been named the Association of Division
III Independents women's soccer Player of the Week. Lamb scored a pair
of goals this week, bringing her season total to 13. With the goals, she
broke the school record for goals in a career with 55 total. (more)
