UCSC Edges Whitworth at Soccer Classic

SPOKANE, WA-- Whitworth could not break through against the stifling defense of UC Santa Cruz as the visiting Banana Slugs pulled out a 1-0 win over the Pirates in the opening game of the Whitworth Soccer Classic. Whitman College defeated Capital University 1-0 in overtime of the nightcap.(more)
