Youth Camps

On Sunday, December 11th, the UC Santa Cruz Women’s Soccer Team will host the Second Annual UCSC 4v4 Slug-Fest & Winter Jamboree.  This is a wonderful opportunity to engage your players in an event that is both exciting and instructional. Small-sided games are one of the most important training tools a coach employs. At the jamboree, each team will play four games with opponents of the same age group.

You may form one or more teams of 4-6 players. Have fun naming your team(s)!

The referees for each match will be UCSC Women’s Soccer players and staff who will mentor the girls during their games.

Coaches must fill out team registration forms, and a parent (or legal guardian) must sign for each player.   REGISTER EARLY! To register, please click here

Once registered, you will receive an e-mail containing all the information you need regarding rules of play, directions to fields and game schedules.

This slugfest & jamboree will be a thrilling, competitive and fun-filled way to end your team’s fall soccer season.  Our comp division will have a tournament winner; our rec division will focus on development, unless the brackets opt to having a round-robin championship. We reserve the right to adjust brackets, pending number of team registrations.

All Proceeds will benefit the UC Santa Cruz Women’s Soccer Program.

What: Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.  Games = 20 min. (no half-time)   Field = 25 yd. X 40 yd.
                                                                       
Who: All U-8, U-10, U12, U14, U16Rec Teams AND U-8, U-10, U12, U14, U16, & Open (18+)Comp Teams***We will have separate Rec and Comp divisions for each age category in which four or more teams register in both divisions. Help us recruit more teams!***

When: Sunday, December 11th
 
Sign-up by October 1st  / November 1st for discounted registration

Where: UCSC Soccer Fields (Lower East)

Cost:.  Teams registering before October 1st    pay $95 per team. 
            Teams registering after October 1st   pay $125 per team.
            Teams registering after November 1st   pay $150 per team.
            ***Final registration date is December 1st***

It’s Easy to Form Teams and Join the Fun:

• Make one or two teams of 4-6 players (make up your own team names!)
• Players can combine & form across any team/club; no player cards required
• Simple playing rules apply
