The Shank Bone Award

Ahhhh the glorious shank bone award. Each year a member of the UCSC Swimming and Diving Team is elected to carry forth the sacred dog bone for their prowess in stupid actions and yardage evasion. Though the origins of the award are shrouded in mystery, there have been some notable figures in the past decade.

After failing to turn in his physical forms for the entire swim season , "Darrell" was kicked out of not only OPERS but the entire athletic department.

Chris Wong

While skipping around during the Seattle meet, Chris Wong tripped over the extension cord, unplugging the computer and erasing all the meet results.. noob

Troy Marcikic

05-06

In the history of the award no one has ever shanked so hard and gone so fast, kudos

Ariel Mendez-Penate
