Men's Tennis Wins 2009 National Championship
CLAREMONT, CA--The Amherst College men’s tennis team had its season come to an end Thursday afternoon with a 5-0 loss to UC Santa Cruz in the NCAA Division III Championship finals at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California. (more)

Men's Tennis Ilya Gendelman Names to the Academic All-District Team
SANTA CRUZ, CA--On the same day the Men's Tennis Team captures it's 7th National Championship, Senior Ilya Gendelman is placed on the 2009 Academic All-District Men's At-Large First Team. Presented by ESPN, this academic awards acknowledges Gendelman for not only his tennis accomplishments, but his accomplishments in the classroom. (more)

Slugs Advance to the Final 8 With Win Over Claremont
SANTA CRUZ, CA--The Slugs sailed into the final 8 with a comanding 5-0 win over Claremont in the finals of the NCAA Regional hosted in Santa Cruz! In a dominating performance the Slugs won 8-4 at two doubles with Jared kamel and Marc Vartabedian and 8-4 three doubles with Max Ortiz and Colin Mark-Griffin to set the tone for the match.(more)

From top to bottom our team played with great courage and passion and
it showed in our outstanding results! We have three new All-American selections
as we captured both the singles and doubles championships in our highly
contested Wilson ITA West Regional Championship hosted by Pomona-Pitzer
