Dear Slug Tennis Fans,

The Slugs took care of two regional opponents 7-0 to run our season record to 19-4. In the first match of the day we beat Southern California's Chapman College and in the second match we beat Southwestern University of Texas. We were able to play most of the team, and I was impressed with our ever improving doubles and tenacity in singles.

In our match against Chapman, we swept the doubles with Matt Brunner and Kellen Ali-Christie winning 8-3, Brian and Kevin Casey winning 8-4, and Justin Coupe and Bryce Parmelly closing down the three spot with an 8-0 victory. At singles, Brian Casey led the charge with a 6-1 6-1 win. At two, Kevin Casey: 6-1 6-0. At three, Bryce Parmelly: 6-2, 6-1. At four, Justin Coupe: 6-2 6-3. At five, Kellen Ali-Christie: 6-3, 6-0. At six, Marco DiAddezio: 7-5 6-1.

With our match against Southwestern, our doubles play is continuing to progress with a 3-0 sweep. Brunner and Ali-Christie at 1: 8-3, Templeman and Seeberger at 2: 8-2. And Brian and Kevin Casey at 3: 8-2. Our singles was similar with Brian Casey taking down the one spot 6-1 6-0. Matt Seeberger at two: 6-0 6-2. Shane Templeman at three: 6-3 6-0. Matt Brunner at four: 6-2 6-0. Kevin Casey at five:6-1 6-1. and Andrew Cohen at six: 6-4 6-1.

I was extremely proud of the boys' efforts today and am looking forward to the road ahead. Thanks again for all the support, couldn't be done without you guys.

Go Slugs!
