Slugs Win First Round of NCAA's

UC Santa Cruz won their first round of the NCAA tournament with a 5-1 victory over Linfield College.  After a convincing sweep of doubles, Kyla Rowe was the first singles victory with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Nelson.  Jessica Ruth clinched the match for the Slugs by defeating Kuenzli 6-3, 6-2.  The Slugs will face #2 Redlands in the second round.
