UC Santa Cruz Tennis Finishes Ranked #29 in Nation

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- After a year out of the national rankings, the UC Santa Cruz women's tennis program worked its way back into the national rankings, finishing at #29 in the nation. The highest ranking the Slugs held this year was #26. The Slugs went 7-2 in Division III competition and 6-2 in west region play. UCSC capped off the season with the top doubles team of Taylor Mannix and Ariana Mokhtari reaching the quarterfinals of the NCAA Individual Championships and earning All-American honors. For more information click here.

Unfortunately the Slugs have to say good-bye to two amazing seniors, Chrissy Nichol and Kyla Rowe, both of whom were pivotal in the program's success over their four year careers. This upcoming fall, we would like to welcome Alexandra Scotten (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) who will make a big contribution to the program right away.

The women's tennis team would like to thank all our friends and family for their support over this past season and look forward to seeing everyone again next season.
