Slugs Slime Division I CSU Bakersfields

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- In the first home match of the season, the Slugs came ready to play. While the 2008-2009 season proved to be a difficult one for the women’s Slug program, the team demonstrated that this year they have left the past behind them. (more)

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association Has Announced It's 2008 ITA All-Academic Teams And Scholar-Athletes

The Slug women's tennis team was recognized as a 2008 ITA All-Academic Team and Christine Nichol and Megan Jean Sweeney were recognized as ITA Scholar Athletes. (link) Seven of the Slug men's tennis players were named as 2008 ITS Scholar Athletes: Silvio Chiba, Justin Dorfman, Ilya Gendelman, Max Liberty-Point, Colin Mark-Griffin, Ryan Sass, and Marc Vartabedian.
