Slugs Split Day 2 of Road Trip

The UCSC Men's Volleyball team bounced back from a tough loss last night to pick up their first win on their midwest road trip. The Slugs defeated the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 3 games, bringing their record to 3-1 against Division III opponents.

In their next match the Slugs matched up well against a stong Cardinal Stritch team (NAIA). The Slugs eventually lost a tough 5 game battle, losing the the 5th and final match by just 2 points.

Freshman Brice Dahlmeier and Seniors Eric Reynolds and Tyler Madden all had strong matches for the Slugs.

Tomorrow the Slugs will face No. 4 ranked Clarke College (IA) in a match that could possibly decide who will advance to the Molten Final Four in two weeks.
