Men's Volleyball Go 5-0 at Slug Dome Invitational

After the best start in program history, the Slugs are currently ranked #2
in the AVCA DIII Poll and Tyler Hinz (6'2", Sr., OH.) was named the Division

Men's Volleyball Announces Schedule and Prepares for 2007 Season

UC Santa Cruz men's volleyball team announced its 2007 schedule. The 2007 season is complete with a DIII tournament, 16 home matches and a trip to the Midwest.

The Slugs will begin their season at home with the Slug Dome Invitational, Jan. 12-13 in the West and East Field House. This tournament is a round-robin format including top DIII teams from across the nation. The 6 team pool Includes UC Santa Cruz, NYU, Carthage, D'Youville, Medaille and Stevens Institute.

Santa Cruz continues to play NCAA DI, NAIA and club matches throughout the season. The team’s 16 home matches include DI St. Francis on Thursday, March 1; NAIA Holy Names on Saturday, February 3; and NAIA Hope on Saturday, February 24.
