In the first game the Slu gs played steady the entire game. Freshman Middle Blocker Travis Waddell got the start and helped the Slugs push through to win. Game two was a different story, Holy names put on an impressive blocking display and the Slugs were unable to recover.
Game three and four the Slugs attacking game reached a peak and Holy Names could not handle the heat. Senior Libero Jeff Hogg’s passing and digging kept the rest of the Slug’s game on track to win out the match.
