Holy Names: Round 2

SANTA CRUZ, CA—UC Santa Cruz Men’s Volleyball team defeated Holy Names University on Friday night at the West Field House, winning in three games, 30-17, 30-20, 30-23. This victory would mark the last home game for the Slugs. The Slugs saluted three senior players, Justin Lam, Brad Sullivan and Eric Rowell.

Senior Justin Lam led the slugs with 13 kills. Senior Brad Sullivan was second for the Slugs with 11. Senior Setter Eric Rowell put up 32 assists for the match.

The Slugs fired up in support of their senior players in front of a packed house. Senior Justin Lam was a serving machine with 3 aces. Holy Names was unable to put out the Slugs fire and struggled to side out.

The Slugs play their next match Friday night in Oaskland CA against Holy Names. The match is set to start at 7:00 pm.
