Men's Volleyball Sweeps Hope Int. on Seniors Night
The Men's Volleyball Team concluded
their season with a 30-28, 30-20, 30-23 sweep of Hope International on
Friday night at the East Field.
In a pregame ceremony, UCSC
recognized its four departing players. Seniors Jonah Carson, Kiet Tran,
Daniel Von Wetter and, making his collegiate debut, Ben Bethune were each
individually recognized for their contributions to the Men's Volleyball
program, and to UCSC as a whole.
The win ends UCSC's season at
6-14.
"I'd like to thank the
fans that supported us." said first-year coach Jay Hosack. "We
reached No. 2 in the nation and packed that gym every night. "
