HIGH SCHOOL: He earned four varsity letters at Moreau Catholic HS for volleyball and was on the honor roll throughout high school. He was named high school boys volleyball MVP (2009).

COLLEGE: Mauro is a volunteer at the Boy and Girls Club

PERSONAL: His parents are Mauro Salinas and Dalia Perez-Salinas. He has one sibling, Raquel, 24. During his free time he enjoys watching reruns of Naruto, hanging out in his kitchen, and singing country music with the windows down.
