PERSONAL: Shar chose UCSC for the volleyball program, ocean science, and the for the study abroad program (EOP). What she likes most about Santa Cruz is the location, scenery, and the schools mascot. Favorite movie is The Holiday and Hairspray. Her hobbies are volleyball, cooking/baking, fishing, doing ceramics, swimming, and movie nights. Favorite food is jyro's, eggplant parmesian, tempura, and chocolate milk. Shar enjoys listening to country, pop, and pretty much everything else. Her favorite athlete is Misty May Treanor. Best class taken at UCSC was Earth Science and The Cinema and favorite place in Santa Cruz is "9". She has played volleyball for 6 years, her parent's names are Dan and Cindy, and had one brother BJ and a sister Stacey.
