Tough Start in La Verne
LA VERNE , CA --
UC Santa Cruz Women’s Volleyball team lost to Endicott College on Friday morning. The Slug’s lost in four games 23-25, 26-24, 18-25, and 20-25. This loss moves the Slug’s overall record to 12-7.
Sophomore Katherine Grow led the slugs with 16 kills, fallowed by Sophomore Middle Blocker Ginger Berryman with 10 kills. Junior Setter Alyssa Trakes contributed 48 assists and Freshman Libero Gabriela Dae had 19 digs for the match.
The Slug’s play their next match Friday night in La Verne against University La Verne. The match is set to start at 7:00 pm.
