HIGH SCHOOL: Played water polo at Cathedral HS as well as club water polo for Commerce. Was also part of M.E.C.H.A. as well C.H.E.

UCSC: In both 2004 and 2006, received the Student-Athlete Award. In 2006, the team finished the season as the D3 National Champions.

PERSONAL: Born June 19, 1986. Parents are Jesus and Dilia and has five siblings, Cesar (18), Pablo (15), Dilia (8), Nadia (7), and Isaac (4). Favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant and favorite movies are Mi Familia and Born in East L.A. Best class taken at UCSC is O-Chem and Rainbow and favorite place in Santa Cruz is the Soar Office.
