Slugs Down Chapman

In a match under the lights at Chapman's home pool the UC Santa Cruz Women's Water Polo team took down the Chapman Panthers. Using a relentless counterattack and full court defensive pressure went out to a first quarter lead of 4 to 1 and never looked back as they stretched their lead to a halftime advantage of 7-2.

In the second half the bench was cleared to lead to the final 11-6. Nila Ward led all scorers with 4 goals, Heather Stewart and Annie Keating had 2 goals each and Chelsea Meyers, Kate Simonis and Cara Hipskind each had a single goal. Courtney Cox was in the net the entire game and had five blocks.
