Three Golfers make American Southwest Honor Roll

RICHARDSON, TEXAS- Three UC Santa Cruz golfers were named to the American Southwest Conference Winter-Spring Academic All-Conference Honor Roll.

Sophomores Maia Dupuis (Computer Science) and Marissa Perez (Electrical Engineering) along with junior Julia Martin (Chemistry) were chosen for their academic excellence during the season.

For Martin, it's the second-straight spring she made the ASC honor roll and was also UCSC's contribution to the league Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team.

A total of 632 student-athletes were selected in all Conference sports. Student-athletes must be classified academically as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student during the competition season and have been in attendance and completed at least one academic year (two consecutive semesters) prior to the season at their institution. They must also have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) as certified at the conclusion of the academic semester in which the sport championship is held.
