HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Cherokee Trail High School in Colorado.  Was a three year varsity letterman and as a senior, team was league champion and went 25-1, losing in state quarterfinals. Earned two varsity letters in football at Cherokee Trail and was the starting safety on the 12-1 State Semi-Finalist team.  

Community College:  Started over 30 games in his two years at Gavilan College. As a freshman, he led the team in assists.  Also dropped in 26 points in a game.  Averaged 5.9 points in 2011-2012 at Gavilan College and was fourth on the team in rebounds.

PERSONAL:   His parents are Roxanne Smith and Warren Smith, and step-mother Robyn Smith.  He has 2 sisters, Kalani and Emily.
