Coach Pauly returns for his fourth year as assistant coach of the UC Santa Cruz Men’s Volleyball Team.
With experience as the full-time assistant coach, he has helped the program capture a Conference Championship (2012) and two successive appearances in the NCAA DIII National Tournament (2012, 2013). He continues his primary role in the technical development of players, including setters and primary passers, while serving as defensive consultant in match play. His notable achievements include the personal development of two All-American liberos (2012, 2013) and one setter (2012).
Coach Pauly brings experience coaching at the youth level as a competitive club coach for Mountain View Volleyball Club. In addition, his past work with USA Volleyball High Performance provides him with a strong technical background for coaching at the collegiate level.
As a former member of the UCSC Men’s Volleyball Team, Coach Pauly helped lead the team to the 2010 National Championship Final’s appearance as the libero. His educational background is a B.A. in Psychology.
