HIGH SCHOOL: Sarah graduated in 2011. She was on the swim team her freshmen and sophomore years of high school and received 3 varsity letters on the basketball team. Her sophomore and Junior Year she was an All-League player in Pioneer Valley League. Her junior year she was ranked in the top 20 players in the Sacramento area and also received and All-Metro Honorable Mention. Her senior year she made the All-Metro 3rd team was named the MVP in the Sierra Valley Conference. Her senior year she also received the Optimist All-Star of the Sacramento area and the Scholar Athlete Award.

PERSONAL: Sarah is the daughter of Chris and Teresa Mackey. She has two siblings, and brother Jacob Mackey, 24, and sister Meredith Mackey, 21.
